Auto-darkening welding helmet P850RM-C with carbon print is primarily intended for welding, but it can also be used for grinding. It is designed to protect your eyes and face from UV/IR radiation, metal splatter during regular arc welding, and small particles flying off during grinding. The model is equipped with a specially developed fully adjustable headgear. When the helmet is lifted, the center of gravity shifts to the center of the head. This reduces the load on the neck and head. The filter is powered by a solar cell and backup replaceable high-lifetime lithium batteries. Upon arc ignition, the filter darkens immediately, thanks to 4 high-performance sensors. The filter's reaction time is 1/30,000 s (0.033 ms). Once the arc is extinguished, the filter brightens automatically. The brightening delay is adjustable in the range of 0.1 - 1 s.
